About LangoLearn

Language books, made to be finished

We are a small publisher in Breda. Our teachers write every book we sell, and we only publish a title once test readers have made it to the last page.

“A language book is only good if people actually finish it.”

Our story

It started with a pile of unfinished books

Our founders taught languages for years. Every September students arrived with a thick course book, and by November most of them had stopped opening it. The problem was not motivation. The books were simply built to be complete, not to be finished.

So we started writing our own: short chapters, grammar explained in a few lines, real sentences you would actually say, and audio recorded by native speakers. Today every LangoLearn title still follows the same rule: if a chapter takes longer than one sitting, we rewrite it.

We cut everything a reader does not need on day one. What is left is the language you will actually use.

What we believe

Four rules behind every book

They sound simple. Keeping to them is the hard part, and it is why our readers keep going.

01

Short enough to finish

Every chapter fits into one sitting of about twenty minutes, so you end each day having finished something.

02

Real sentences first

We teach the phrases people really use, and bring in grammar only when you need it to say more.

03

Native audio included

Every book comes with audio recorded by native speakers, at no extra cost and without an account.

04

Yours to keep

No subscription and no app that stops working. You buy the book once and it stays yours.

How we make a book

From classroom to bookshelf

Every title goes through the same four steps before it reaches you.

  1. 1

    Written by a teacher

A working language teacher writes the book around the situations their students struggle with most.

    Step 1
  2. 2

    Tested by readers

Test readers work through every chapter. If they get stuck or give up, that part gets rewritten.

    Step 2
  3. 3

    Recorded by natives

Native speakers record every dialogue and exercise, at a natural pace and then again slowly.

    Step 3
  4. 4

    Kept up to date

Reader feedback goes straight to the author, and new editions improve on it.

    Step 4
Our authors

Written by teachers, not by algorithms

Every LangoLearn title is written by a working language teacher and reviewed by a native editor before it goes to print.
